MPNZ has been heavily involved and at the forefront of para development with World Pentathlon. With our strong para athlete base locally, we have helped set the path for other para athletes around the world to compete.
The MPNZ team has helped support World Pentathlon, by leading the Para Laser Run World Championships in Portugal in 2022, and the World Biathle and Triathle World Championships in Bali, Indonesia in 2023.
Andrew, who is the current Secretary General of Modern Pentathlon New Zealand, was the chairperson of the World Pentathlon Para Pentathlon Commission from 2021 to 2024.
